¡I’m Nidia Santiago, founder and creator of Yaya’s Kitchen.

The concept behind Yaya’s Kitchen was born in Miami, Florida, in 2008, when I founded my first company dedicated to developing recipes thoughtfully created especially for children.

In 2012, I brought that vision to Panama, with a mission to create fun, colorful menus made with honest, quality ingredients—meals that bring children the warmth, familiarity, and comforting feeling of “home away from home.”

Today, we are proud to be a pioneer in school food service in Panama, offering a distinctive approach to school dining built on more than 25 years of my professional experience in the food and beverage industry in both Panama and the United States.

At Yaya’s Kitchen, we believe that every school community is unique. That is why we design customized menus tailored to the needs of each school, student, and client, while creating dining experiences that strengthen the sense of community among students, schools, and families.

Our goal has always been simple: to make children excited about good food and to turn every meal into something they can enjoy and look forward to.
